Our promotional video for GFA Consulting is complete. Biodiversity is a major issue all over the world. In Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic, an ideas competition was held among farmers on this topic. This video features one of the winners. The “From Farm to Fork” program is implemented by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) and funded by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, and Nuclear Safety (BMU-IKI). Political partners include the Ministry of Environment and Energy in Costa Rica (MINAE) and the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources in the Dominican Republic. The goal is to position and integrate biodiversity and ecosystem services into the banana and pineapple value chains in the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica.
