265 Strand is a sales video we produced for the fund of the same name managed by MPC Capital AG. 265 Strand is a unique and impressive office building that combines a central location, excellent transportation links, and breathtaking views. 265 Strand is located in the heart of Central London, directly across from the Royal Courts of Justice and next to the world-famous London School of Economics and Political Science. The amenities of Covent Garden are just a few minutes away. Due to its proximity to historic institutions such as the Royal Courts of Justice, the four Inns of Court, the Central Criminal Court, and the Commercial Courts, the location is recognized worldwide as the heart of London’s historic legal district. When we shot the film, drones didn’t exist yet. Right in front of the building, there were—and still are—a few trees that block the view of the property. To show at least a little of the building in its entirety, we erected a makeshift structure on the square in front of it and positioned a crane on top of it. The ability to move the camera both up and down in this way resulted in some beautiful shots—shots that could be achieved much more easily today in just a few minutes using a drone.
