We documented the ceremonial christening of the NCL NORDLAND<\/i> in Hamburg with an event film\u2014an outstanding occasion in the maritime world and a clear signal for the future of sustainable shipping. Representatives from MPC Container Ships<\/a>, MPC Capital AG<\/a>, and other partners gathered aboard the historic Cap San Diego to celebrate this moment together. <\/p>\n

The NCL NORDLAND<\/i> represents a major step forward in environmentally friendly shipping. With dual-fuel engines that can also run on methanol, a battery-backed energy storage system, shore power connections for emission-free port calls, and a potential emission reduction of up to 95 percent compared to conventional ships, the vessel sets new standards. As one of the world\u2019s most modern and climate-friendly container ships, it exemplifies the technological transformation in the industry and represents a concrete step toward decarbonization. <\/p>\n
